Real Estate Review: Bayswater Condominium, Gelugor
Bayswater Condominium is a condominium in the MetroEast-Udini development area of Gelugor, Penang. It was completed in 2007. Comprising 2 blocks on freehold land at Lebuh Tunku Kudin 2, it was named after the Bayswater neighbourhood in London. The condominiums are 26 storeys tall, and have a size ranging from 1173 to 1636 square feet. Standard units have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are a total of 396 units. The estimated selling price ranges from RM380,000 to RM500,000. Estimated rental is RM1500 to RM2500. Maintenance fee is RM0.12 per square foot.
Facilities at Bayswater Condominium include security services, sheltered car park, swimming pool, gymnasium, jacuzzi, landscaped garden, enclosed lift lobby with CCTV and card access.
Bayswater Condominium is 8.3 km from Magazine Circus. It is ideal for executives working in the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, as it is along the coastal expressway. If you are working in the city, it is still within a manageable distance, though you can also consider other properties that are nearer.

People staying at Bayswater don't usually rely on public transport. Nonetheless, Rapid Penang Bus 206 goes to Tesco Penang across the road from Bayswater.
Traffic along Jalan Tunku Kudin is very heavy during much of the day, as it is one of the main the exits from the Penang Bridge. Access to Bayswater is through the Jelutong Expressway, Jalan Tunku Kudin, Jalan Faraday and Jalan Akuarium. Apart from Jalan Akuarium, the other three may experience jams especially during the evening rush hour, and particularly on Friday.
