Wawasan Open University printing unit & warehouse (11 February 2013)


Wawasan Open University Printing Unit is at 49 Beach Street in George Town. It is sandwiched between the Ban Hin Lee Bank Building and 51-59 Beach Street. The building housing the printing unit of Wawasan Open University was built in the 1940s.¹. Its front façade continues on the appearance of 51-59 Beach Street. A pair of pilasters rise on each side of the doorway with a flagpole extending at the top. Today the building houses the printing unit as well as warehouse of the university.
