Kampung Seronok is a Malay village in Bayan Lepas. It is located along Jalan Permatang Damar Laut between Kampung Binjai and the pekan (village centre) of Bayan Lepas.
Kampung Seronok was developed into a model village showcasing rural life. As a result, it is often visited by tourists in coaches. Village activities such as top spinning and congkah are demonstrated to the visitors who also have the opportunity to visit the rubber plantation.
The name Kampung Seronok, which means "enjoyable village" is said to be inspired by a suggestion from a British colonial engineer, D.W. Grehan, who visited the village during a feast day or kenduri some time in 1946. Overwhelmed by the hospitality and joyousness in the village, Grehan suggested to the village elders that the place should be known as Kampung Seronok.
The central landmark of Kampung Seronok is its community mosque, which is one of the most beautiful rural mosques in Penang.
