Medan Angsana Park, Farlim, Air Itam, Penang (15 September 2012)


Medan Angsana Park (GPS: 5.38999, 100.28272) is a park at the centre of Farlim, also called Bandar Baru Air Itam, Penang. The park if turfed and planted with shade trees. There are walking paths for relaxing strolls. There is a basketball court at the side of the park, near the junction between Medan Angsana 1 and Medan Angsana 3. Diagonally across, on the other side of the park, is a children's playground.

The Medan Angsana Park doubles as the site of the Farlim Night Market, which is held every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Lintang Angsana. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 202, 203 and 306.
