Leong Kim Tiew House (GPS: 5.41941, 100.33134) is a two-storey bungalow on Hutton Lane in George Town, Penang. The house in the Anglo-Indian style glass louvre windows on the ground floor and wooden shutters on the upper floor.
According to information I gleaned from the web, the references placed below, the house belonged to the former Penang Chief Minister Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu, who inherited it from his father, Dr Lim Chwee Leong. However, it was rented out on a long-term lease to a carpenter friend, the namesake Leong Kim Tiew, who occupied it and placed the signage on the house which is still there today.
As time of writing this, it appears to me that the house has not been renovated for quite some time, and is in need of sprucing up.
