The "Duck" Sculpture is a steel-rod sculpture on a wall in Che Em Lane, in the inner city of George Town, Penang. It celebrates a now forgotten past, when Che Em Lane was part of the market that spilled from Market Street via Penang Street. During that time, Che Em Lane was the centre for poultry hawkers. That's why the theme was chosen for the steel-rod sculpture, which shows a hawker taking out a duck from the cage.
The "Duck" Sculpture is based on the caricature of Tang Mun Kian. It is one of the last sculptures to be installed as part of the Marking George Town project.
