Syazana Nasi Melayu is a Malay food stall at Astaka Stadium Bandaraya, in George Town, Penang. The stall offers a wide selection of Malay dishes and is usually quite crowded during lunch time.

I was introduced to this stall by a friend who found the price to be quite reasonable. My wife and I visited the stall on 10 November, 2013. We did find that it is indeed good value for money, though my wife felt all the dishes were too sweet, that even the rice tasted sweetish.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop to Syazana Nasi Melayu is along Perak Road, in front of Astaka Stadium Bandaraya. The bus stop is served by Rapid Penang bus 11. Syazana Nasi Melayu is the stall on the side of the food court facing the City Stadium.
