Pasukan Bomba Sukarela Sri Tanjung (12 April 2013)


Pasukan Bomba Sukarela Sri Tanjung is a voluntary fire brigade stationed along Weld Quay, in George Town, Penang. The squad is manned entirely by volunteers. It provides voluntary services in the case of fire and other calamities.

The fire bridage housing the squad was built based on funding from donations. The building is expected to be ready by early 2014.

Getting there

From the Weld Quay Ferry & Bus Terminal, head south on Weld Quay until you arrived at Pasukan Bomba Sukarela Sri Tanjung - usually noted for their red fire engines - on the left side of the road.
