Padang Lalang, Penang

Padang Lalang (GPS: 5.365168, 100.448287) is a neighbourhood within Bukit Mertajam, in Seberang Perai Tengah. The area is served by Jalan Padang Lalang, the main road, between Sungai Rambai in the east and Kebun Sireh to the west.

The village of Padang Lalang is anchored by its village mosque, Masjid Padang Lalang, located just south of the Bukit Mertajam Railway Station. The name Padang Lalang is also used for the state constituency P45 which is within the Bukit Mertajam parliamentary constituency.
