Bertam House (GPS: 5.51782, 100.43649) is a historic building in Kepala Batas, Penang. It stands within its spacious grounds at the junction of Jalan Tun Hamdan Sheikh Tahir and Jalan Bertam Indah 1.
Bertam House used to be the estate manager's bungalow of the Straits Settlement Bertam Rubber Company, also known as Bertam Estate. This was during a time when much of eastern Kepala Batas was rubber plantation. Since then, the Bertam rubber estate has been converted into urban development, particularly in the form of the new township of Bertam Perdana.
Built ion 1913, the two-storey Bertam House is shaped like the letter Y, with full-length black-and-white blinds covering all sides except its arched porch. The building is still well maintained today.
