The coffee shop has a popular and incredibly expensive Char Koay Teow, where a plate costs between RM6.00 and RM6.50 (as of Sept 2012). The hawker frying the koay teow is usually audible throughout the coffee shop, as he is clanking about most of the time. Having tried a plate, I found that the portion is small and not as tasty as my favourite Char Koay Teow, though it does look good. I would encourage you to try and make your own comparison.
Other stalls at Excellent Cafe include a Sar Hor Fun stall and a Chicken Rice stall. I have also tried the chicken rice, which I find to be so-so but not mediocre.
