Air Itam Roundabout (7 January 2018)


Air Itam Roundabout (GPS: 5.40567, 100.28307) is a small but significant roundabout in Air Itam. This is where Jalan Air Itam meets the Hill Railway Road and Jalan Khoo Hye Keat, near the Overseas Chinese Anti-War Memorial. Jalan Air Itam continues from here towards the Air Itam Village, at the foot of the Kek Lok Si Temple.

The roundabout was beautified in 2005. The project, financed by a local developer, involves the cleaning up of the roundabout, and the planting of pinang (betel nut) trees. The The newly spruced roundabout was unveiled by the Air Itam State Assemblyman, Mr. Wong Hon Wai, on 21 May, 2011.
