Butterworth Floating Mosque

Butterworth Floating Mosque (GPS: 5.40959, 100.36613), or Masjid Terapung Butterworth, is a mosque constructed off-shore in Bagan Luar, in Butterworth, Seberang Perai. The Mosque is part of the North Butterworth Container Terminal, and is expected to receive worshippers who are Muslims attached to the container terminal.

The Butterworth Floating Mosque is not actually floating. Like the Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque, it is built on stilts over the water.
