The Padang Brown Johore Road Hawker Centre is one of two hawker centre around Padang Brown. It stretches along Johore Road. The hawker centre has two parts. The one closer to Dato Kramat Road opens in the afternoon while the one closer to Anson Road operates in the evening.

There are a number of stalls operating at the Padang Brown Johore Road Hawker Centre. Among the food available here include char koay teow, dim sum, Hokkien char, char hor fun, foo kooi mee, Hokkien mee, lor mee, wan tan mee<, curry mee and satay.

Of the various items I tried there, the one I like the most is the Hokkien mee. The satay is also quite okay. The rest of the food is just so-so to me. The wan tan mee is rather pricey

Take Rapid Penang Bus 11, 201, 202, 203, 204, 206, 301, 302, 306 and 308 to Dato Kramat Road and walk from there.
