Desa Ara Public Park, Sungai Ara (6 April 2014)


Desa Ara Public Park is a public park in Desa Ara, in Sungai Ara, Penang. It is located along Jalan Sungai Ara 1, and is bordered by Jalan Sungai Ara 5, 6 and 7. The park has a basketball court, and a shelter. The middle area is wide open and can be used for sports activities and games such as football. The borders of the park is lined with Tabebuia trees which produce a profusion of flowers once every few years, after a particularly hot and dry season.

Getting there

The Desa Ara Public Park is 600 meters from the main road, Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim. It is best to reach it by own transport, as there are no buses going into the housing area.
