One Corner Cafe (GPS: 5.4216, 100.32563) is a hawker centre in George Town, Penang. It is located at the corner of Bawasah Road, behind Penang Plaza. One Corner Cafe occupies the building that was used for many years as a pet shop. Today it has been turned into a bustling coffee shop.

There are many stalls at One Corner Cafe. Among those that I found here include the lam mee, Hokkien mee, char koay teow, koay teow thng, char mee suah, chee cheong fun, Lor Bak, or koay, popiah cni, wan tan mee and others.

Updates on One Corner Cafe

24 August, 2013: So far I've been here twice. Our intention was to try the Hokkien Mee, but it seems we'll never have it. The first time we came, the stall was closing up, and so we had curry mee, Lor Mee and chicken rice. Only the curry mee was nice. The chicken rice was so so. The Lor Mee was "very not nice", at least to my wife and me.

The second time we went, the Hokkien Mee told us we have to wait for over half an hour. So, no way Jose. We ordered char koay teow, char mee suah, chee cheong fun and wan tan mee. My wife liked the chee cheong fun but I found it to be only so so. The rest of the items we also found to be below par. The char koay teow looks okay, but not as tasty as its appearance suggests.
