Bukit Merah (GPS: 5.4113, 100.43241) is a small hill range in Permatang Pauh, Penang. It is located to the south of Kubang Semang, and to the east of another hillock, Bukit Pelanduk.
Bukit Merah used to be surrounded by paddy fields, much of which are today abandoned. Most of the people living here are Chinese farmers. Their houses cluster on the southern side of the hill.Bukit Merah is
