Opulent By Lava Dining (GPS: 5.42545, 100.32695) is a beachfront dining establishment in George Town, Penang. It is housed on the ground floor of Lava Mansion off Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah. The restaurant has a bar serving various alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. It also has a VIP room ideal for private dining. The place is open daily from 8:00am to 11:00pm and offers breakfast, lunch, hi tea and dinner.

12 October 2023My wife and I had the privilege of an exclusive invitation to Opulent By Lava Dining a day before their full soft launch. We sampled a sumptuous feast from their breakfast and dinner menus. Among the items we sampled included egg served with avocado salsa on foccacia bread sautéed mushrooms and girdle tomato, omelette kacang pool, salmon tartare, wild mushroom soup, shrimp bisque soup, pan-seared tuna with Asian Nicoise salad, Angus beef with Chef speciality sauce, grilled tiger garoupa with ulam sauce and grilled chicken Tuscan sauce.
For the dessert, we had the giant croissant, 7 textures of chocolate, summer pannacotta and breakfast parfait.
