Kimberley Street Char Koay Teow (24 October 2013)

The famous
Kimberley Street Char Koay Teow (GPS: 5.41642, 100.3327) is a stall located at the junction of
Kimberley Street and Cintra Street, in front of
Kedai Kopi Sin Guat Keong. Most people in Penang know this stall, and they either love it or hate. I have met both in equal numbers. Those who love it say this is one of the best
char koay teow in town. Those who hate it say it is over priced and the portion is small.
I do agree that this char koay teow ranks among the more expensive in George Town, but most of the famous char koay teow in town are expensive any way. I also agree that the portion is small. But I enjoy having mantis prawns in my char koay teow, and this is one of the few places that I can enjoy this treat. Also I enjoy the taste of the char koay teow here.
