Penang Yellow Bus Depot, Teluk Kumbar (2 February 2013)


Penang Yellow Bus Teluk Kumbar Depot is one of the historic bus depots in Penang. This is where the vehicles of the now defunct Penang Yellow Bus Company are taken in for repairs should the need arise. The depot was built in the Art Deco style which gives an indication to when it was built. It is located along Jalan Teluk Kumbar, with its rear side facing the sea.

Today the Penang Yellow Bus Deport at Teluk Kumbar is no longer used as a bus depot. Instead I saw that it was been taken over for other purposes, though exactly what, I am not too sure.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop along Jalan Teluk Kumbar is served by Rapid Penang bus 308, 401 and 401E.
