Horizon Tower (GPS: 5.46237, 100.29991) is an apartment complex comprising two 14-storey blocks at Tanjung Bungah Park, Penang. There are 56 units, on freehold land, with sizes from 1,900 sf to 2,390 sf.

My opinion of Horizon Tower

Built in 1988, Horizon Tower is one of the older condominiums in Tanjung Bungah. As such, its design and architecture may appear a bit outdated. Nevertheless, in terms of location, it gets a plus point for being away from the main road, at one end of Tanjung Bungah Park, hence away from the noise of traffic.

If you wish to take public transport, you have a long walk from Tanjung Bungah Park to the nearest bus stop along Jalan Tanjung Bungah. Rapid Penang bus 101 from Weld Quay Ferry & Bus Terminal or 102 from the Penang International Airport pass along the road.

Traffic situation at Horizon Tower

Traffic within the Tanjung Bungah Park area is light, but not so Jalan Tanjung Bungah. However the road has been widened so traffic flow is usually smooth. However, the awkward alignment of the road to accommodate the many right-turn traffic lights makes for a rather hazardous drive.
