21 China Street (GPS: 5.41686, 100.34083) is an impressive three-storey shophouse in the core zone of the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the Straits Eclectic style, it towers over the other buildings along China Street, possibly because it was built later than its neighbours, around the late 19th century, on a plot that held an earlier structure.

21 China Street stretches from China Street to Che Em Lane. The façade facing China Street was rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century, while the side facing Che Em Lane remained as it originally was.

The entrance has been renovated. Originally a main door flanked by a pair of windows, this has been replaced by shutters. On the second and third floors are sets of three full-length windows with moulded lintels.
