The Batu Maung Market is located along Jalan Baru Batu Maung, popularly known among the locals as "Sin Lor Market". (Sin Lor means "new road", but the road has been around since the 1970's.) The market is located next to Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Wen Khai. This is where you can go for marketing, if you live in Taman Iping or any of the upcoming residential estates, though variety is less than bigger markets such as the Bayan Baru Market.

Getting there

Take Rapid Penang Bus 302 or 307 to the market.
