Permatang Tok Mahat (GPS: 5.13211, 100.48058) is a village on the southernmost part of Nibong Tebal. In fact the village straddles the border of Penang and Perak, so part of Permatang Tok Mahat is in Perak, within Parit Buntar. It also has two postcodes, 14300 Nibong Tebal and 34200 Parit Buntar. Sitting right on the border is Masjid Al-Islah, with its entrance and parking lot in Parit Buntar but the building in Nibong Tebal!
