Hou Mei Yuen is a coffee shop in Bukit Jambul, Penang. It sells mainly pan mee in both the wet and dry variation, and in different portion sizes. When it started many years ago, Hou Mei Yuen sold only pan mee, but due to brisk business, it has expanded to also include rojak, chee cheong fun and dim sum in its menu. The coffee shop is very popular during lunch time, particularly with office workers from the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone.

Of late, the general sentiment is that portion sizes at Hou Mei Yuen has become smaller, even with increases in prices. However there has not been a significant reduction in its customers.
