Hutton Green, Hutton Lane, Penang (29 September 2012)


Hutton Green is a playground and park along Hutton Lane, Penang. It includes a basketball court which was officiated on 27 July 1986 by then Chief Minister of Penang, the late Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu.

The basketball court at Hutton Green was built by the Penang Island Municipal Council (Majlis Perbandaraan Pulau Pinang) with the allocation for the Tanjong Parliamentary Constituency and the Padang Kota State Constituency.

Hutton Green is bordered by Hutton Lane on one side and a rump portion of Amoy Lane on the other. In addition to the basketball court, it has children's play things as well as benches for relaxing. Across the road is Fook Cheow Cafe.
