Utropolis (GPS: 5.24139, 100.43969) is a mixed property development in Batu Kawan, Penang. Being developed by Paramount Property, it will cover an area of 44.14 acres between Design Village Outlet Mall in the north and Aspen Vision City in the south. The name Utropolis is a portmanteau of "university metropolis."

The campus of KDU Penang University College is the anchor tenant of Utropolis. Apart from that, there are residential suites, shopping mall and entertainment outlets.

Based on the masterplan for Utropolis, the development is carried out in five phases on a plot that is bordered by Lebuhraya Bandar Cassia in the east and Persiaran Cassia Barat 3 in the south, with Jalan Cassia Barat 2 connecting the two in T-junctions.

Phase 1 of Utropolis is Sensasi @ Utropolis, a mixed development comprising residential suites and commercial suites. Phase 2 is called Suasana @ Utropolis. It comprises two 40-storey blocks of residential service suites with 491 units of suites. Phase 3 is called Savana @ Utropolis.

Amenities at Utropolis

Utropolis is in a newly established township. Nearest amenities are in the surrounding townships and neighbourhoods such as Simpang Ampat.

Utropolis is 31 km from Penang Sentral.

Traffic at Utropolis

The main road is Lebuhraya Bandar Cassia, where traffic is still low, but is expected to pick up as the surrounding development is completed.

Sensasi @ Utropolis

Sensasi @ Utropolis comprises the Sensasi Residential Suites and Sensasi Commercial Suites.

The residential suites offer 3 types of units: Type A 500 sqft 1-bedroom units, Type B 729 sqft 2-bedroom units and Type C dual-key 3 bedroom units.

The commercial suites occupy the first three levels of the podium. These come in two sizes: Type A 27' x 34' and Type B 27' x 60'.
