Setia Pearl Island (GPS: 5.30285, 100.25897) is a housing estate in the Sungai Ara suburb of Bayan Lepas, Penang. It occupies the 112.6 acre plot of land that was previously the golf course of the now defunct Setia Pearl Island Country Club. The housing estate is divided into three neighbourhoods called Isle of Life, Isle of Aroma and Isle of Conifer.
The Setia Pearl Island development comprises link and semi-detached landed properties surrounded by tropical landscaping features such as cascading waters and greenery. Although originally Setia Pearl Island was developed by the Setia Group, taking over from Public Packages, since then other developers such as Ideal Group have also developed adjoining neighbourhoods which are often lumped together as part of Setia Pearl Island.
Facilities include security services that features CCTV and double-layered security system. Owners of the Setia Pearl Island housing properties can avail themselves to the facilities of the Setia Pearl Island Country Club, which include the swimming pool, tennis court, steam bath, gymnasium, outdoor jacuzzi, children's playground, barbeque pit, dance hall and restaurant.

Setia Pearl Island is 18.3 km from Komtar. Unless you are very much into the country lifestyle, the location is slightly far from the city.
Public Transport at Setia Pearl Island
The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim, formerly Jalan Sungai Ara, some 120 meters from the nearest double-storey property. Rapid Penang Bus 302 and 308 pass through Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim in front of Setia Pearl Island.
Traffic is moderate along Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim during rush hour, since it is at a more remote part of Penang. However, distance and the poor road condition may be something to consider.
