Ho Ping Coffee Shop (GPS: 5.41929, 100.33219) is a coffee shop at the junction of Kampung Malabar and Penang Road.
Kedai Kopi Ho Ping is famous for having the only stall in Penang selling beef ball noodles. (That stall, which was run by Mr Pong Choo Kong, who took over from his father. The business has been in operation since 1968 and at one time, it was operating in the coffee shop across the street from Ho Ping. But after four decades of operations, it finally called it a day in 2016, as the hawker decided it was time to retire.
Kedai Kopi Ho Ping is open every day except Tuesday, from 8:30 am in the morning until 8:30 pm at night.
