Masjid Jamek Kampung Binjai (17 October 2008)


Masjid Jamek Kampung Binjai is the local mosque for the village of Kampung Binjai. It is located at the curve of the road between Permatang Damar Laut and Kampung Seronok.

As with the village itself, the mosque has seen the area around it transform in the past two decades. No longer is it surrounded by forest trees and village atmosphere. Today development is encroaching closer and closer to the mosque. There is no telling how long the village for which the mosque was build will remain.

Getting there

Take Rapid Penang bus 302 or 305. The bus stop is about 100 meters away.
