Sunshine Pushcart Mee Goreng

Sunshine Pushcart Mee GorengSunshine Pushcart Mee Goreng (22 November 2014)

The Sunshine Pushcart Mee Goreng is the name I gave to an itinerant hawker that I often saw on a pushcart behind Sunshine Square. It is located at the curb in front of Noosa Bakery.

Tim's Taste Test

One day, feeling a bit hungry, I decided to try this mee goreng. The hawker asked me whether I wanted with extra sotong, and I said yes. Well, as a result, my packet of mee goreng cost me RM5.00. That was a surprise to me, as I never expected a pushcart mee goreng to be "that costly".

I took it home and put it on a plate. It does look good, doesn't it?

And in fact, it is not bad at all! I am still fretting that it cost me RM5.00 (I should have checked the price before ordering, but I didn't expect a roadside mee goreng to cost as much as some of the most famous in Penang). As far as I am concerned, this mee goreng is not bad. It's not at the top of my list, but it is certainly okay. I would have to try it a few more times to decide whether I could move it up the ranks. Getting there

Look for the pushcart parked in front of Noosa Bakery in the afternoon. I show below the spot where it is parked.
