Quayside Condominium is a waterfront condominium project at Seri Tanjung Pinang in Tanjong Tokong, Penang. Itg is developed by E&O Property, the developer of Seri Tanjung Pinang.
Quayside Condominium comprises seven blocks of condominiums. They include 5 high rise blocks and 2 low rise ones. The high-rise blocks will be about 25 storeys each. Each standard unit has an area size of 1,137 sq ft to 2,501 sq ft. Maintenance fee is tentatively set at RM 0.35 per square foot.
At time of writing (Feb 2010), Quayside Condominium is a project on the drawing board that is open for booking.
Facilities
Facilities planned for Quayside Condominium include covered parking, swimming pool, waterpark, outdoor spa, clubhouse, volleyball court and landscaping.
Location
Quayside Condominium is 7.3 km from Magazine Circus. It is a little bit distant from the city centre though still manageable. However you can also expect Jalan Tanjong Tokong to be congested especially near the Sunrise Tower junction. Having said that, if you live here, you get superb views of Gunung Jerai across the sea.
Public Transport
You don't plan to take the bus, do you? If yes, then you are going to be very fit, because the nearest bus stop is a good half a kilometer away. Your maid can wait for Rapid Penang bus 101, 103 and 104.
Amenities
The nearest school is Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjong Tokong. The nearest petrol station are the Caltex and Shell along Jalan Tanjong Tokong. The nearest market are the stalls along Fettes Park, or further down at Pulau Tikus Market. The nearest shopping mall is Island Plaza. The nearest hospital is the Penang Adventist Hospital.
Traffic
Traffic along Seri Tanjung Pinang is presently very low, as the project is still under development. Traffic is heavy along Jalan Tanjong Tokong.
