Fettes Park Chinese Temple, Penang
Fettes Park Chinese Temple also called Fong San Si or in Hokkien, Hong Sua See, is a temple along Jalan Fettes in Tanjong Tokong, immediately west of Prima Tanjung Business Centre. Began as a small shrine in the mid 20th century, the temple has been enlarged a few times, with the most recent renovations completed in 2009.
The new façade of the Fettes Park Chinese Temple is finished in granite. The main porch leading to the prayer hall is supported by four exquisitely carved garnite pillars. The roof ridges points upwards and are embellished with dragons and phoenices.
