River Valley Planning Area, Singapore

The River Valley Planning Area (Simplified Chinese: 河谷, Traditional Chinese: 河谷, Pinyin: Hégǔ, Malay: River Valley, Tamil: ரிவர் வாலி) is a prime residential district located in the Central Region of Singapore. Covering approximately 1.69 square kilometres, River Valley is a compact but highly desirable neighbourhood, known for its upscale condominiums, proximity to Orchard Road, and a blend of heritage and modern urban lifestyle. The name "River Valley" reflects the area’s geographical setting near the Singapore River.
