Paterson Road is a major thoroughfare in River Valley, Singapore. It runs from the Orchard Road intersection, across from Scotts Road to continue as Paterson Hill to the intersection with Grange Road, across from Irwell Bank Road and Hoot Kiam Road. Jalan Tupai forms a T-junction to it. It was known in Hokkien as Tang3leng3 Ma1ta3 Chu3 Au33, meaning "road behind the Tanglin Police Station".

Paterson Road was named after W.R. Paterson, who arrived in Singapore in 1849 and joined the firm of Kerr, Rawson & Company, eventually becoming one of the major partners in the establishment.
