Raja Uda is a neighbourhood of Butterworth, Penang. Located to the north of the city centre, it developed on both sides of Jalan Raja Uda. Raja Uda was named after Raja Tun Uda Al-Haj Raja Muhammad, the first Governor of Penang after Independence, serving from 1957 to 1967. It is bordered by Bagan Ajam in the north, Bagan Lalang to the east, Mak Mandin to the southeast, and Bagan Jermal to the south.
Raja Uda has been a largely residential neighbourhood with mostly landed houses, although high-rise residential properties have begun to be developed here in the past decade.
