Civic District is an urban district in the Central Region of Singapore. It encompasses the Downtown Core and parts of the Singapore River, Rochor, Outram and Marina South planning areas.

The Civic District is characterized by the concentration of government offices in the area. The Supreme Court Building, Parliament House of Singapore and City Hall are all located here. Also found within the Civic District is the Empress Place Building, housing the Asian Civilisations Museum, the National Museum of Singapore, the Peranakan Museum, the Esplanade Park and the Padang. The St Andrew's Cathedral, the Armenian Church and the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd are churches in the area. Fort Canning marks the western end of the Civic District.

Shopping centres within the Civic District includes Raffles City and the CityLink Mall. Major hotels in the area include Swissotel The Stamford and Raffles The Plaza.

How to go to the Civic District

The Civic District is served by the City Hall MRT Station (EW13/NS25), an interchange for the East-West Line and North-South Line. Other MRT Stations in the periphery of the Civic District include the Esplanade MRT Station (CC3) to the east, Bras Basah MRT Station (CC2) to the north, Clarke Quay MRT Station (NE5) to the southwest and Raffles Place MRT Station (EW14/NS26) to the south.
