Jalan Rangoon, (Chinese: 仰光路), is a road in George Town, Penang. Originally called Rangoon Road, it was named after Rangoon, now called Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar. it is one of the many road names in George Town named after towns or places there. In addition to Penang, there is also a Jalan Rangoon in Singapore.
Jalan Rangoon connects Macalister Road to Burmah Road. Today it is a semi-commercial precinct, with a few residential houses between shops and offices.
There are no public transport along Jalan Rangoon, but you can take Rapid Penang Bus 10, 101, 104 and 304 to Macalister Road or 10, 11, 101, 103, 104, 201, 202, 203, 204, 206 and 304 to Burmah Road.
