DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang (GPS: 5.47753, 100.26928) is a resort hotel in Batu Ferringhi, Penang. Located on Jalan Low Yat, it has 316 non-smoking guestrooms and suites, each enjoying its own balcony. Room amenities include high-speed wireless Internet access, 40" LED television set with a wide selection of channels, toiletries from CrabTree & Evelyn^TM and coffee- and tea-making facilities, to name some.

The main dining outlet at DoubleTree Resort is Makan Kitchen, an all-day restaurant with a view of the swimming pool. It offers Malaysian delicacies including Malay, Chinese, Indian, Peranakan and other local cuisine. In addition, there is a café called The Food Store, which is ideal for casual meetings and light meals.

DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang is geared for meetings, weddings and other events. The Esplanade Ballroom can accommodate 500 participants theater style. In addition, there are three function rooms namely Ferringhi I, II and III, which can be combined into a single function room. The hotel offers event organisers the use of their Online Group web page which can be customized for their event, allowing attendees to book their reservations online.

Within the premises of DoubleTree Resort by Hilton is Teddyville Museum, a Teddy Bear-themed museum that showcases the local culture of Penang. In the vicinity of DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang is Miami Beach. To the west of that is Moonlight Bay while to the east is Shamrock Beach.

A Taste of Doubletree Hospitality

DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang is DoubleTree's first resort hotel in the country (the other hotels by DoubleTree are city hotels). As such, it is geared specially for the comfort and enjoyment, not only of grown ups but also of children. The hotel has a special kid's corner, and even a Kid's Buffet section with food and snacks that appeal to children.
