South Canal Road, Singapore (28 July, 2017)
South Canal Road is a road in downtown
Singapore. It connects
Chulia Street, at the junction with Circular Road, on the eastern end to
South Bridge Road, at North Canal Road.
South Canal Road was named after a canal that once drained into the
Singapore River. That canal has since been filled up when South Canal Road was widened. It enables the wide divider between South Canal Road and North Canal Road.
