Kallang Estate Food Centre, Singapore (28 July 2017)


Kallang Estate Food Centre (GPS: 1.3074, 103.88403) is a neighbourhood market and hawker centre. Despite the name, it is actually located in the Geylang planning area rather than in neighbouring Kallang, based on area delineation. The centre has two parts. One side has stalls selling fresh produce while the other side is the hawker centre with stalls selling hawker dishes.

Going to Kallang Estate Food Centre

The nearest MRT station is the Dakota MRT Station, which is 550 meters away on foot. If coming by car, enter via Jalan Tiga. Note that parking by Wilson Parking is S$0.60 (as of Aug 2017) for every half an hour.

I have noticed that at every food centre in Singapore, there would be one stall that has all the queue, and over here, it is this stall (above picture), of stall 01-14 selling noodles with Teochew fishcakes.
