Ardmore Park is a prestigious residential road in Newton, in Singapore's prime District 10. It is a short distance to the Orchard Road shopping belt. The area is renowned for its luxury condominiums. Ardmore Park connects Anderson Road to Draycott Drive, a distance of about 420 metres.
Ardmore Park's namesake, Ardmore, was the name of a house belonging to James Guthrie Davidson of the legal firm of Woods and Davidson, which existed from 1861 to 1872. It is believed that the house changed ownership several times, but kept its name. James Guthrie Davidson went on to become the first British Resident of Perak in 1876.1
