Tanglin from
Newton . It connects
Stevens Road , across from
Balmoral Road in the north, to
Orange Grove Road in the south. It branches to
Ardmore Park .
According to
Singapore Street Names 1 , Anderson Road was named after Sir John Anderson (1858-1918), who served as Governor of the Straits Settlements and High Commissioner for the Federated Malay States between 1904 and 1911.
Anderson Bridge was likewise named after him.
