Draycott Drive, Singapore

Draycott Drive, SingaporeDraycott Drive, Singapore (2 August 2017)

Draycott Drive is a road in Newton, Singapore. It is at the border between Postal Districts 9 and 10. The road connects to Stevens Road on its eastern end. It also forms junctions with Draycott Park and Ardmore Park.

Draycott Drive was named after a house belonging to Scottish colonial administrator, John Anderson (1858-1918). The house was known as Dray Cott House. There is also a contention that Dray Cott House actually belonged to Abraham Antonio Velge (1769-1832).1
