On this page I list out the expressways in Malaysia that I have documented. These are access-controlled toll motorways with grade separated interchanges. In addition, I have a separate page for highways in Malaysia and Expressways in the Klang Valley.
24 May, 2016 The Star reports that effective 1 June 2016, another six toll plazas in the Klang Valley and Penang will convert to full electronic toll collection. They involve the Sungai Besi Expressway (Besraya, E6), Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR, E17), Kajang SILK Highway (E18), South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE, E26) and the New North Klang Straits Bypass (Grand Sepadu, E30). In conjunction with this conversion, 108,500 Touch N' Go cards will be given out for free with a minimum credit purchase of RM5, while Smart Tags will be sold at a promotional price of RM104.95, inclusive of 6% GST, with a minimum credit purchase of RM20.
