E25: Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR)

LATAR Expressway E25 (7 July, 2016)

LATAR Expressway, or Lebuhraya LATAR, is a 32-kilometer expressway in Selangor. It carries the expressway code of E25. It is also variously known as "Lebuhraya Ijok-Taman Templer" and even as the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway, even though it is not connected to Kuala Lumpur at all. LATAR connects Ijok, which is near Kuala Selangor, to Templer's Park, which is near Rawang.

Construction of the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway provides motorists an alternative route to Federal Route 54 in reaching Kuala Selangor. The expressway was opened to motorists on 23 June, 2011. It has 5 interchanges and 4 toll plazas. Kilometer Zero of this expressway begins at Ijok.
