Jalan Taiping, Jelutong (4 June 2013)
Jalan Taiping is a small road off Perak Road in Jelutong, Penang. As with many of the roads in this part of Perak Road, it was named after a town in Perak, in this case Taiping.
Jalan Taiping runs from Perak Road to the east to Jalan Bersih in the west. When it was first created, the road runs though a village area, with vegetable plots at the end of the road. This has since given way to urban development and is barely recognizable from when it was first laid out.
Getting there
The nearest bus stop along Perak Road is served by Rapid Penang bus 11.
