Wood Green Tube Station


Wood Green Station (GPS: 51.59743, -0.10981) is a station of the London Underground in Wood Green, in the London Borough of Haringey. The station building faces the junction of High Road and Lordship Lane. It is in Travelcard Zone 3.

Wood Green Tube Station is served by the Piccadilly Line between Bounds Green Tube Station (heading towards Cockfosters Tube Station) and Turnpike Lane Tube Station (heading towards Uxbridge or Heathrow Airport Terminals 4 or 5). The station first became operational with the opening of the Cockfosters extension of the Piccadilly Line in 1932. The station building was designed by Charles Holden, and is an example of the modernist style. Since July 2011, it is a grade II listed building.

Wood Green Tube Station is served by London Buses 29, 67, 121, 123, 141, 144, 221, 230, 232, 243, 329, W4, and night buses N29 and N91.
