The railway line at Eastcote Tube Station dates to 1904, when it was constructed by the Metropolitan Railway, the precursor of today's Metropolitan Line. Originally using steam trains, the track underwent electrification in 1905, and then in 1906, the station opened, originally known as Eastcote Tube Station Halt.
In 1910, the District Line also began serving Eastcote Tube Station. It was replaced by the Piccadilly Line in 1933. Also in 1933, the present Eastcote Tube Station was built to replace the original one, which is now known as the Old Eastcote Tube Station Station, still standing some distance away.
