Clapham South Tube Station


Clapham South Station (GPS: 51.45283, -0.14776) is a station of the London Underground in the district of Clapham, within the London Borough of Lambeth in South London.

Clapham South Tube Station is located at the corner of Balham Hill and Nightingale Lane, at the boundary of Travelcard Zone 2 and 3. It is served by the Northern Line between the Clapham Common Tube Station and Balham Station.

Clapham South Tube Station began operations in 1926. It was the first station of the Morden Extension of the City & South London Railway, the precursor of the Northern Line.
